Ghost of the Frontier is the companion piece to Spirit of the Frontier, exploring the quiet mystery and enduring presence of the American West through bold neon color and contrast. The lone bison moving through the forest represents strength, survival, and the fading echoes of the frontier that still remain within the landscape today. I wanted this piece to feel almost otherworldly; as if the spirit of the West still wanders through the trees long after time has passed. Through the glowing palette and dark silhouettes, the painting blends history, nature, and memory into a modern western vision.

Alexis Frazier is a Tulsa-based artist specializing in acrylic and oil painting. She has loved creating art from a young age and has continually pursued her dream of becoming a full-time artist.
