September Print Club: The Siren's Gaze

his month’s print is The Siren’s Gaze, an original oil painting that has quickly become one of my favorites.

The piece is about strength and presence. Her red hair is full of movement and energy, while her steady gaze is meant to capture that quiet confidence that draws you in. The deep blue of her blouse balances the warmth of her hair and skin, giving the portrait both contrast and focus.

I built this painting with layered brushstrokes to keep the skin soft while giving the hair its bold vibrancy. It’s a portrait that feels direct and modern, yet still timeless.
