May Print Club: Very Berry

This month’s print is “Very Berry.” I wanted to create something simple, colorful, and full of energy. The bright reds, pinks, and deep greens reminded me of summer markets, fresh fruit, and those little moments that make the season feel special.

Painted in oil with bold brushwork and layered color, this piece focuses on pattern, contrast, and the beauty found in everyday subjects. I enjoyed pushing the colors beyond reality to create something playful and eye-catching while still celebrating the familiar shape of a strawberry.
